Five Self Help Group (SHG) members from Mechuka circle
trained on paddy cultivation technique at Ziro organized by Future Generations
Arunachal (FGA) from 7- 10 march last. The main purpose of imparting training
to women SHG members is to self evaluation for effective decision-making and
system for communities to adapt, learn and expand themselves in the field of
agri-allied sector.
After learning lesson from Ziro, the enthusiastic SHG participants
will apply the rice cultivation technique to their own Mechuka area where land,
water and climatic condition is favorable. They are planning to work out in SHG
land and then to individual land.
It would be mention here that Future Generations
Arunachal (FGA), a Community based-civil society has provided the same kind of
training in earlier of which fruitful outcome has been seen in the Mechuka
valley. Besides, Community development program FGA is engaged in managing of
Primary Health Center in two districts of Arunachal Pradesh.
The four days orientation training was supervised by Kago
Yam of Siiro village, Ziro.
